thanks, and yes they're both with the NEX. i am currently without an slr unless you count an old minolta film slr with an unreliable shutter or d1x at work with no battery.

I agree. It's insane for the price. I wish I had AF but with digital I just take a billion shots and get lucky a few times

Great color and contrast Harry. I think you're going to enjoy that lens. Have fun with it! It will be nice to be a bit more mobile. A friend had knee surgery recently and he couldn't drive his car for six weeks. He's still recovering but at least he can get around now. Hopefully, you'll enjoy the rest of the summer in your neck of the woods.

A few from down under with the Rokinon 85 1.4 (later AE edition). This is a fine lens from Samyang in Korea. These were my first test shots with it on my Nikon D7000.
