Zaitz, cute shots, especially the colored one. This lens has simple but very nice bokeh which I love more than porridge-like blur of Nikon 85/1.4 G and 105 VR if background is busy. I prefer faster transition to OOF area.
just love the colors and contrast I am getting with this lens, and the D7000 meters perfectly with this glass - the last one is matrix metered, not adjusted at all, straight out of camera. I did half a dozen of these and the D7000 metered them perfectly - something I didn't expect. Never had a camera that was smart enough to interpret a scene like this with dominant dark background and still expose properly for the subject I cared about

It is an insane lens. Beyond surprising, especially for the price. The puppy had such a close working distance that it made for even shallower dof.
