I didn't say so since I wanted you to stay calm... but in looking at the Fuji X-T2 I was most drawn to the Graphite Silver Edition... For the same reason. But its MUCH too expensive...
I'm done getting excited, not good for my health.
Speaking of the graphite edition...I think it would have looked better if was silver, like your Df.

Yes... but this is the HIGH priced spread that will likely run above $4,000, which is a ballpark I can't imagine playing in... for the same reason I'm not inclined to buy Zeiss Otus lenses. I can get where I want to go without spending so much money.
No, I have never moved from Florida and my wife says we never will
Perfect weather
Sun,sand and water
No state income tax
and no tourist in the summers
I would only move farther south if I could get her to

Yea, I heard about that. But I also heard it will never come to fruition. I know they lost a lot of creatives with there new laptops with its lack of ports. I'm really not trying to stir things up, just what I've heard. I for one, would like it if they stayed with them, competition is always good.

I'm confused Reagan. I thought you lived in Tennessee and that you're a Volunteers fan. I must have misunderstood.
I have lived on the East coast of Florida the whole time
Worked at Southern Bell>BellSouth>ATT for 38 years
I would like to move at least to the West Coast of Florida
if she won't move to the Caribbean

Now that would be cause for consternation for me... losing lenses is never fun.
I wonder Buddy, whether there is a more reliable address to which the package could be sent that you could rely to hold it until you can pick it up. Just a thought... even a local post office might work. Hate to have you miss out on George's home roasted coffee. I'm guessing that would be quite a treat.
I am still not certain where the problem lies. In the last few months I had 3 shipments not delivered to my address. But I had just as many that came through without a problem.
In one case I had the sender reship the items to my mothers address. She lives in the Netherlands, where shipping seems to cause les problems (Ben shipped Nikko to Chris after shipping it to my previous address did not work as planned)
I believe the shipping problem lies in the middle of the chain. I consider Frankfurt international airport to be one of the best places where a shipment can land. Very accurate tracking there. Usually, items delivered before 5 in the morning are loaded up before 8 in the morning that same day.
On the next leg of the trip, these parcels go to a main distribution center in Krefeld, and that is where the problem started in all 3 cases. Irreliable tracking, or items leaving without being scanned.
From there on, the items go to a small customs office on the border between the Netherlands and Germany. I already left a permanent impression there, and the people there normally know by memory whether or not a parcel with my name on it is in their hands.
From this point on however a further problem occurs. DHL should send a notification to my address, stating that they delivered the parcel at the customs office. So far they failed to do that twice.

Actually, the X-T2 graphite is quite silvery, and I was considering that for a bit, until I found an offer in the UK saving me $800 over the graphite edition. To stay with the current theme, that's a lot of lenses (albeit not as much as the real estate deals could cost/save you)

Wonderful set of images Peter. Love the graphic on the back of the Corvette... "Drive it like you stole it!" That is exactly how I drove everything while in my twenties... and my driving record proved it. I was on risk insurance by the end of the decade...
That's one sweet paint job... much like the one I put on the 1956 Corvette I owned that sat in the garage for 90 days following my license suspension. It seemed the perfect time to remove all the trim and sand the fiberglass. The color, then called "candy apple red" was five coats of hand rubbed lacquer. It didn't make the car any faster, however. For that I dropped in a 327 cubic inch fuel injection short block topped by two four barrel carburetors. Fortunately there were no cops around when I raced a motorcycle from a stop sign. He was surprised he couldn't pull away from me... Those were the days.

I'm confused because in Florida the north is the south, and the south is north.
