Well, found out why my eyesight has been getting so stinking bad...Apparently I have diabetes. It hits some people’s eyes really hard. I’m one of those lucky people! I have been trying to find ways to focus and even using focus peaking and zooming in is proving to be difficult. I won’t be selling everything, but will probably sell most of them.
So sorry to hear that Kevin. Glad you found the cause though. Any chance on even slight improvement once diabetes is kept in check using the right medication?

I’ve only been able to get a “slight chance of a full recovery” out of the doctors. I have another appointment in 2 days to see how my numbers are doing. Final diagnosis should be then.
Pff.... that sounds not good. I hope you’ll get some beter news in a few days.

Yes I have become quite attached to the 45
even though it is a pancake lens it sits nicely at the end of the FTZ adapter
Great contrast and color and I don't have to use focus peaking with it
The above photo has no PP done to it
and to answer your question it will probably go when the Z6 does

Thanks for the well wishes. Got one result from one of the big tests today...even worse than the earlier tests. I just hope some of my vision returns. ☹️
Had loaned a camera to a friend so he could photograph the arrival of his newborn son. In return, he got me a photo tour/photo pit pass for the airshow. I brought the 28 f/2 AI-s and the 105 f/2.5 AI-s along with the 70-200 and a rented 200-500 lens. First up from the 105 are these statics of the Thunderbirds:
More with the 105 and various other airshow static displays, with the exception of the United Airways departures (they keep the civilian traffic going on a separate runway/taxiway unless they shut the airspace down for flight demonstrations like the Thunderbirds)
