Went to the same places for the 3rd time
Nassau, Freeport and their private Island
but since I was getting a refund I still had a great time
and the ocean was like glass the entire trip

Samy, speaking of Sekonic, I am glad we compared light meter readings at the market last Saturday, my little L-208 is off by about 2 stops and further testing when I got home showed it was erratic. Dropped one too many times I guess . So I picked up a Gossen Digiflash2 this week. About the same form factor. Ready for shooting my non metered stuff again.
George
That Gossen should last you a long time. I'm still using my Luna Pro from 1983 and it works great.
George, this is my 3rd Sekonic L-518, the other two eventually something just completely died and refused to start up. But while they work they have been quite accurate. Occasionally I will check them against the Df, or just see how the sunny 16 rule holds up.
Ken, are you back on tour in the Corvette or is this an earlier visit to Seattle? Nice ferry and waterfront scene.
Jay love the deep blue in the koi pond. Makes me think of Velvia.
Kristian, cool closeups of the guitar and the flowers with the 55 micro.

*** Leighton *** The market shot of the young girl is right up there with the Afghan woman. Congrats!
Seattle and the cruise. The beach taken the day before as well as the "closer shot" of one of John's Ferries. And yes lens changed to the 180ED!
Ken,
I was born and raised in Seattle. In your 3rd photo the the tall building (pyramid roof) on the right edge is Smith Tower and was at one time the tallest building west of the Mississippi! Now it is dwarfed by just about everything in the city.
Also your Montana mountains shot - was that the "Crazys" just north of I-90 near Big Timber?

Don't sell yourself short Leighton! That beautiful picture is "grabbing" a lot of people.
You see Leighton if Jack “says so” its got to be true.
Jack yup! Just after hitting I-90. That mountain is Montana’s tourist billboard. Also glad my
photo took you back home for a bit. I can’t believe Seattle from the 80’s til now.
