Our thread has picked up the pace nicely over the past couple of days, and our little online community seems to be growing with some newcomers, which is always a good thing!
Here are some photos of the view from nearby Nanoose Bay towards the BC mainland, starting with an artistic rendering from the 180 f/2.8 Ai-s with a generous helping of SEP2, followed by a more realistic 180 f/2.8 shot, then a wide view from the 28 f/2 Ai-s. All are courtesy of my lovely little Fuji X-T2.

This one I call birding in Baltimore. Prefocusing on the bird helped. When it decided I had taken a step too many towards it, I just pressed down the shutter release.
This was in a Hindu temple in Chennai, there was a deity at the end that everyone who passed by acknowledged/prayed to. Think this was the 135/2 ais on XT1+zhongyi lens turbo II FR
Chaos in the narrow street between the back exit of the temple complex and the holy water tank, woman running a fruit stall, tuk tuks, mopeds, pedestrians, a cow behind me etc. and lots of horn beeping !
Stall selling chalk dust (I think that's what it is), used to make colourful intricate patterns or pictures outside your home for good luck from the gods. I'll get a pic or two of some of them at some point.
This is St. Thomas' Cathedral, his remains are buried in crypt. He was one of the Disciples of Jesus (was he Doubting Thomas?) and arrived in India to spread the word in AD 52, died in AD 72.
There are 28 million Christians in India (2.3% of the pop.)
