First of the year and back to the basics - D600 with 55mm f/1.2 Nikkor S in the snow. I had plans for more images, but I dumped the camera into the wet snow and couldn't get the water off the lens and ND filter. Oh well. Got this one. Riding was more successful.
f/2.0 1/200s ISO 100 ND8 filter, Nik SEP2 cross processed and some photoshop blending fun
Off to India in the morning, had a trip to the Herberton Historic Village with my Mum and wife today, I've been before so you may have seen some before but hey ho what can you do.
They have 105 old buildings that have been relocated from the local area, including some nice John Deere's for Leighton, old cars etc.
All with XT1, 28/2 ais or 105/1.8 ais (probably 95% the 28mm)
Taking my laptop with me so will hopefully process and post pics as we go.
George no can do! Slept with a blanket last night.
Jay love the Boys Town series. Its quite the place even by todays standards,
Peter hope the 600 is Okay. Nice crusty bike shot.
Nice pub Andy! Have a safe and enjoyable trip.
Here are some from the West coast and East Coast showing off our poor weather and the fish are the victims of the dreaded red tide. Yes, by my standards, it was cold for a few days!

Happy 2019 to all!
Had a fantastic new year party at the W hotel in Hollywood. Cannot show pics as all I took was an AF 24-120 F4 VR, to appease family with my timing.
Will dare to post temporarily a photo of the Santa Shop and fountain in a Glendale shopping center, will substitute with a link later today.
I have to say that using AF, VR, auto ISO and Zooming on the D810 makes for fast and easy photography, still not as fun as Manual focusing but much more 'productive', less walking to frame.

Here’s a post that admittedly will stir the pot. 🍯 As you may have read I acquired a Z6, a wonderful camera in every respect save for the fact that my two Nikon “D” lenses are now remdered to manual focus use.
As Reagan say’s “Nikon Camera - Nikon Lens.” So my question is simple as MF lenses on the “Z” platform can they be used on this forum? They are now manual focus to me!
So lets see if my topic lites a fuse 🧨under this thread for a day or two! 💣🧯

The owner's home at the Woodlawn slave plantation in suburban Maryland. It produced tobacco, and later corn, oats and such. The rest of the property has been converted to county buildings and a parking lot, as well as office buildings. Somehow the home has survived the centuries.
