Couple of a little known building with the Nikkor-O 35/2 and Fuji X-E1.
This is a lens that I need to use more often. It is certainly sharp enough, has great color saturation plus find the OOF rendering quite attractive. Takes very pleasant portraits as well.
I got to this info from another thread posting, but thought I would pass along here as well.
You may have read a couple of my previous posts about me experiencing color being off on RAW Z6 files imported into Lightroom. Well low and behold, Adobe admitted an issue
Here is a link to the temporary workaround. Download and import/update new Z6 profiles.

The Nikkor-O 35/2 is a great lens imho. I got to use one when I already had my Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2, and I liked its rendering very much. I'll definitely buy one if it crosses my path at a reasonable price.
Well I tried to stir the pot to get the thread moving but it failed. So back to the posts!
Chris terrific first use of the "Z." Congratulations and I see that the focus peaking has worked very well with the 105mm. As you experiment you'll be shocked to see the peaking combined with the 50%-100% zoom is incredible. The Z is a great platform.
So back to posting pictures!
One very vane bird and a few boats. Chilly day in the low 60's F

Ken - I like the contrast and clarity processing in the last boat picture, the vane bird shows the "warmth" of Florida.
I agree, time flew by in December. Was wet, wet, wet here. I took today off from work to go hunting in Virginia for the last weekend of deer season, but guess what... More rain! Eighth straight day of measurable rain. So hanging out at home checking off to do list.

Keep the sunny Florida pictures coming
George
So I guess you didn’t get a buck! Florida deer are about the size of a big dog! No sense hunting. On the road to Wauchula Springs they are smart enough to eat the grass and let cars pass! On the road to Vortex Springs they charge the cars wherever they see them.
So all my Christmas and new year photos are AF, to please family with instant timing. I found the D810 more responsible with AF, VR, auto everything than the Z6, maybe just because I am used to it, in any case the big advantage of the Z6 over the D8XX does not seem to be there for AF photos.

I happened to stop at a Best Buy today. Z6 with the 24-70 was on display. I tried the famed focus peaking out (I presume its those rectangles lighting up?). Not getting a Z yet but at least now I can say I have used it.
Warm pictures are always welcome. So far the winter has been mild here, but Florida still looks better

I finally took delivery of my Z6 this afternoon.
Trying to find out all the differences with DSLR's.
The focus peaking is working great.
