If you want to drive on the beach to your fishing spot you now need to get a permit (can online or at several locations there) and you need to look at updated closures especially during the summer depending on where the sea turtle nests are at or in certain bird nest areas.
Not sure how long it has been for you, but the Frisco pier is gone (hurricanes over the years). Avon pier is still there for pier fishing. Cape Point is still the hot spot for surf fishing. Especially in the fall. ...Show more →
Relieved to hear it hasn't changed much. It's been a long time since we were last there, but would like to go again. We always went to the point to fish.

Hey Leighton... Got any snow pics to post yet? Was looking at the Bryce Resort webcam and saw the snow falling just north of you.
Woke up this morning to an ice storm, and a large branch down on my sidewalk. Not sure if it grazed the truck on its way down. Driving to my patient's house, there were lots of downed trees and branches to dodge. I'd much rather just have the snow and be done with it. Ice belongs in a glass.
