Serge, I was at Point Lobos back in July. Just a beautiful park, but I only had m43 with me, and it was more about the experience with family then photography. Good memories, thanks for sharing.

Hi, pbraymond:
Point Lobos is an amazing area with guaranteed nearly perfect weather. We also spent the bulk of the short visit soaking the splendor and sounds of nature plus keeping an eye out for the native inhabitants. It was a great super relaxing experience.
The few photographs taken were to document our trip and hopefully get something decent to post in this thread but not any sort of priority.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral in Karakol (Kyrgyzstan). This traditional Russian wooden cathedral with an onion dome.
The 24/3.5 TS was the only MF-lens I had with me and I used it only a few times.

The start of my road trip was on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides
The weather can be unforgiving. And it proved to be thus for a couple of days.
Good that my sister has her whisky cabinet well stocked .... mmmmmm what's not to like !!
When we did get out, went to the north east of the island
Here are a couple of shots at the Kilt Rock
The waterfall and the seaview showing some weather ....
Plus a ten shot pano all taken using the 25-50mm f4

Excellent Steve - Why are you complaining about the weather? It adds mood and a real sense to these places.
That is what Scotland is all about and you have captured it's essence well.
As others have said - the series is great. Kilt Rock falls is my favourite.
I trust McStokesey was wearing a kilt when those pictures were taken
Now THAT would be a picture!

I am a big fan of those long shadows. Mid-day in your neck of the woods?

Gotta get out some more and catch the afternoon light before winter..

I feel honored that you thought of me while on your holiday!
I really did, Leighton. The last couple of doors are on the side streets of Venice and apparently the entire city is inundated today.
Still I guess they cope better than most having had about 700 years experience
