Laura, I know that nursing is very demanding physically. I have known quite a few nurses with back problems, some quite severe. I imagine that long work days, and ever changing schedules can take a toll as well. I’ve no doubt you’re making the best decision for yourself. I can imagine working for the postal service could be a great gig. I’m sure you’ll have more to say on the subject. Good luck!
Back from a quick trip to the coast of NC. Went light on gear this trip. Only 3 small Leica Thread Mount Nikkors. 2.8cm, 3.5cm and 5cm. All easily fit in a photo vest. Good for "f8 and be there" photography
Posting a quick one of an 1800's doorway for Leighton. Fort Macon State Park on the Beaufort Inlet.

Sure. In fact, I'm offering a weekend special (this weekend only!) in which I'll upgrade your request to labelled versions of the photos. See below [updated with a correction, thanks to Chris].

I think you changed the 135/2.8 QC and the 135/3.5 QC.

Need the requisite gear pron shot. These old lenses that you are using are really the only glass I lust after.
Curtis, not only physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically taxing. However, the pay for aides is abysmally low, and that's one of the factors in my decision. I have a "regular" schedule, four 11 hour days, but there are other issues for my departure.

Reagan, thank you for the above samples of the Nikon 28 F2. I became interested in the little 28mm 2.8 AI-s when I saw the shots below:
If someone has a minty good copy of the Nikon 28mm 2.8 AI-s in need of a new home please let me know
Posting a few from Beaufort NC. 3rd oldest town in North Carolina.
Nikkor LTM "nifty 50" and 2.8cm used in these shots. The Leica M estimates aperture based on exposure so the recorded info in the EXIF is in the ballpark. The old 2.8cm lens has a little color shift and strong vignette on the digital Leica, but it is a fun lens to use. Set the aperture, zone focus, point and shoot

I'll see if I can put a shot together of the old lenses tomorrow afternoon. Going to be a rainy day. Need to roast some coffee and start on taxes.

How much for a roasted bag of coffee beans? Wife loves coffee...
