Thanks Alex. I've had a 35mm, 50mm-ish, 85mm, and 105mm problem for years. I got rid of the 105mm f4 ais micro, and 105mm f1.8 ais - only to buy the non-ai version from a toy stor with no caps even, but it was pristine. So, I'm at three versions now - down from 4. Here is the ais version that I hung onto.
For some reason sharing, embedding, and BBcode isn't working from Flickr? I'll just post it from my FM account

Went out back to play with the 105mm f2.5 ais + TC-16a, and this little guy flew right up to me above his cake feeder. I'm not Dr Doolittle, but he had a lot to say. No fear of the camera either. About the size of a wine cork from 5-6 feet away. Second shot is a 100% crop.

Thanks for the likes on the aster and lupine shots. Just a walk in the neighborhood. I haven’t been shooting much lately. The little that I have shot can’t be posted here. It’s been with Pentax Takumar lenses that I had inherited from my dad years ago. Lately I’ve been using them with an adapter on the Z6.
I’ve repented my evil ways and returned to Nikkor optics, but I still might be led astray from time to time.

The last batch of 5DmkIII-w-Nikkor-P 105mm f2.5 Non-ai, I replaced it with the 105mm f2.5 ais. It is smaller, brighter view, and easier to focus. On the 5D mark III I have to under expose quite a bit with both lenses?

Morton, agree on the wave, though I had to take my eye/hand down to wave as well. Seemed rude once I realized he was looking at me!
One more from the 75-150. This lens seems to fit my style, not sure why I don’t use it more often, realized my Lightroom doesn’t have much since late 2023!
