One more today with the 28/2 and showing a different perspective of the lower falls I posted earlier. Looking down into the bowl. The other image I posted was taken down in the lower right section of this shot.
There were other vantage points I would have liked to try, but would have been a sketchy climb. I was solo hiking and there is no cell coverage. So "age and wisdom" kept me from doing it. Plus I told my wife I would be careful.

Tested my newly converted Fuji X-T3 today. This one is a pano with the Nikkor-H 50mm f2 and a Hoya R72 filter. Still a lot to learn when it comes to IR..
Looks like you are on top of the learning curve already! Great shot.
In my opinion you won't find many lenses that are much better than the 50/2 when it comes to IR.
Is your conversion full spectrum and the Hoya filter on the lens?
I was in India at a bird sanctuary a number of years ago, and came across a crowd gathered near a tree. It turns out there was a python in it. There were people sticking their phones very close to it to get pictures. I was wondering it the python was going to run out of patience and grab somebody's hand.

@GeorgeBo@@@, I agree with the need for speed. I was shooting at 1/8-1/15 mostly, I had to get out at 6:30 to get any shooting in. I’m a little less impressed with the borders at f2.8 so maybe faster and a stop down would help? I’m in Morehead City now though after 1 night home, busy week!
@leighton w@@, definitely in the market. Never considered myself a 28mm guy but got a f/3.5, f/2.8, 28-50 and I keep reaching for them despite other good options.
Edit, everyone making me want a Df now too! There was a good deal in BST the other day. ...Show more →

It turns out that one of the bear cubs bit one of the aggressors on the hand as it tried to run for it's life. Unfortunately it was trapped inside of a chain link fence and could not escape to the tree, so it was grabbed by one of the aggressors and held up for photos like it was a teddy bear. The cub cried for help as it's captor screamed with glee.
Another vote for a Df, or two. After all, in MFNG land, more than one of anything is permissible. I won't let a black Df escape my paws if it showed up for sale.
I think my Nikkor-Q 13.5cm f/3.5 is better than the AIS 135mm f/2.8.
