Regina, you are getting what we had 24 hours ago. A local barn with a touch of yellow. Taken with the 35-105 Ais. Thanks for looking.

Started doing some morning workouts a couple times a week. Not terrible motivation that it’s located on the waterfront, and it’s still a bit dark but wraps up around/before sunrise most days. Hopefully plenty more to come!

This is NOT supposed to bend like this. 28/2.8 ais.
Eight hours since your post, here's hoping it warmed up enough to melt the ice off before any breakage.
Couple more from the early morning "uptown" hunt for photos. Again with the 25-50, the only Nikon MF lens I had with me. I was hoping for more blue hour but the light changed pretty quickly.
Thanks, glad you noticed the sky. And nice work on the “uptown” architecture.

I like this lots, especially with the reddish horizon poking out beneath the pier.

Wow! Beautiful shot Leighton! We only had a trace here and you really had to look for it. Now it is 60 degrees and heavy rain and wind today. Crazy January weather for sure.

We had another ice storm yesterday. We have more of these than snow lately. 28mm f2.8 ais.
Nice one Matt! I am way overdue for a trip to the coast. But will have to wait. Back to the South Carolina Upstate next weekend. Trails are waiting to be ridden

I guess I can’t complain about 37 degrees on the coast… misty moon rising, AIS 35mm f/1.4

Regina, that Df seems to be suiting you well. Enjoying your images with it.

Thanks, George. I sent my D850 to Nikon for a general cleaning. For now, the Df is the only full frame I have. However, I am enjoying the Df and the 55mm f1.2.

Thanks George. Yea, raining like crazy here at the moment. Since I don't like snow, I guess I better not complain. Stay dry.
Fortunately, the storm that was damaging elsewhere in the nation ended up being mostly a non-event around here other than about an inch of rainfall through the day. This is from this morning, 28mm f2.8AIS. It was still extremely dark, this is more to show the mood of that moment, cold, wet, not high definition. ISO51200 with AI noise reduction in LR did OK with the mood.
Sitting here now listening to the hum of the generator. iPad hotspot tethered to my phone. Modern “roughing it” Electricity went out at 4:30pm when the crazy wind came through. Official reports of 69mph.
