Peter - Thank you, that's really nice of you and glad you enjoy it. I just lost a dear friend who was the only Scotsman I could understand, the accent otherwise was damn near impenetrable, so capturing the flag as you pointed out is a nice remembrance for me.
Ripolini - That last image looks like a great way to celebrate the new year!
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston (MA); noteworthy, the best artworks displayed there are from Italy; I felt home

Absolutely! I love the 200/2, I often prefer 200 over 58 but it can be too tight sometimes. I'll match your red ford, with a red ford!

In 2017 we took a road trip to view the total solar eclipse and wound up in Idaho. Rod was quite a machinist having apprenticed at Rolls Royce and continued this art on his own so he was quite at home with mechanicals large and small.
The day before the eclipse we enjoyed a gold dredge full of large scale equipment.
You two better look in the back seat - there is a V8 shoe-horned in there where the seat should be. It is dangerous, loud, and hot sharing the passager compartment with a souped up engine.

Jay, what a great memory trove and tribute to your friend!
Serge the street music must have been cool to listen to. I just noticed the person talking on his cell in front of the red phone booth. serge07 wrote:
Hi, everyone:

Jay, nice series.
Andy, terrific landscape photograph, gotta love the reflections.
Later it became San Diego botanical garden and it started growing. Better shows, a lot more people. The holiday lights this year were over the top, expensive to get in, crowded into a fenced path, and quite a light show, impressive, always changing, but not as enjoyable. Enjoyed he simpler times more.
