more cars from the IMSA weekend at Road America. I am running out of MF shots though. I tested a rental Tamron 70-200 G2 that weekend, and to keep my review of that lens short: I should have just used the 180mm f/2.8 ED AIS. Looks like I will need to get a Nikon 70-200mm after all ($$$$)
anyway - more ND filter work with the 55mm f/1.2 - here you can pick your favorite marque (mine is in focus) out of some Italians, Germans and Japanese rides
There´s a festival going on in Malmö right now. I´ve been to a couple of concerts. I brought my H.C-85/1.8 and took a few shots on of my favourite bands, The Bronx.
Here´s when the singer decided to jump out into the audience to "dance" a little The Bronx by Kristian Hagelin, on Flickr

What's the deal with that peddler of authentic Nyons nougat wearing a Corsica hat? And it's not even "La Corse"
He does have a little Walter Matthau look (I just watched the old Pelham 123 movie)
haha that's what makes the shot : that guy is a "Corse" (and very proud of it - like any good corsican...) and he's selling some "true nougat from Montélimar")....

Leighton - I love how in that third shot, you're photographing Barbara who's out photographing the sheep. With you two so busy taking pics who's doing the farming in that joint?
Kristian - nice B&Ws with the 85.
Ken - is it my eyes or is that some serious blue/purple fringing on those pics.
Ok, so after I made up my mind to leave Nikon digital camera bodies behind and move up to something smaller, a lot has happened.
I have been trying to catch up with this thread every day, but I started lagging behind on page 8145 and am currently reading the happenings on page 8159. It's a real shame that I missed the bicycle discussion and photos alltogether.
And now, I see Nikki made a move from down under to back yonder. Things really go crazy here when I'm not around.
On our little farm Anouk learned crawling. She found a very unusual way of mobility, stretching out one leg all the way to the side, while hopping along on the other, but she is healthy and mobile, just a bit creative in her ways. Her "vocabulary" constantly grows, and she does her very best to discover hir primary social skills, which, at the time, consist of: Sharing everything she can get in her hands with everyone and everything in reach, long range communication by hand signals (she actually expects people to sing a song in which children are motivated to wave their hands, so she waves her hands at everyone in sight, even animals, and expects them to sing her this song)
Something else that happened is that I started a new job.
But now back on the topic of Nikon Lens - Smaller Camera
The closer I came to raising the funds needed for a Fuji + Metabones focal reducer, the more I doubted about whether it really was the right way to move.
I LOVE The Bronx. There's few bands I like that much. These guys also have a band called Mariachi El Bronx which is really, really cool and ver different from The Bronx. Very diverse boys.

Looks like they played my kind of music there
Congratulations on your new lenses, and your new job too. That 300mm is a monster!! Cant wait to see you share some shots with it.
You gonna need to keep an extra eye on your gear now that the little one is growing. Things can happen real fast with mine, several times I've been catching em on their way doing something that potentially could cost mucho...them gangsters!!

LOVE IT! It has long been a dream of mine to visit markets just like this in Europe and around the world and then write a book about it. Maybe one of these days.
