I started with the 300mm x 1.4 on the camera. The trees were so tall that anything interesting was up too high to find, and the FL was way too long for most things on the ground. So I ended up switching to the 55mm.

Thinking of adding a reflector on the tree that is over the bird bath. They jump into it to preen, because they get too wet to fly. It makes the bath almost always in shadow - except late evening.
Last Thursday I had the afternoon off so I took the 28mm f/2.8 AIS and my Zf to the town of Niwot. I'm always pleased with the images this combo is capable of making.

Siphiwe, excellent colors in you photographs. I did not know you had the D780, your collection of cameras is impressive.

Serge, tbh, it can be a bit embarrassing since I can only use one at a time. On the other hand, they all hit different parts of my "happy to pure joy" happiness scale though .
