Thanks Jim and Leighton. I don’t know … my colours are probably more accurate but I do like the look he gets out of that scanner he uses.
It’s hard with film sometimes because each stock has it’s look but every device it’s processed on gives it’s own interpretation whether that be a commercial scanner on auto or an Epson flatbed or someone like me messing around with NLP. There’s a fine line though I guess. You could make Portra look like Ektar … but why would you.

Thank you for your kind words, Mary!
Here is another small group of images from the same location, all from the 5.8 f/1.4 S this time.
By the way, Leighton, if it is of interest to you, I use Lightroom Classic via subscription, usually together with Color Efex Pro or Silver Efex Pro. For infrared, I may also use Capture One Express (for Fujifilm) to set white balance and/or Photoshop to work on colour swapping and various enhancements. I upload my photos directly to FM from my hard drive.
Love these Glen, is the water color natural? if not, how did you do it?

The first one was nicely captured AND processed.
Leighton, I a getting my cataract surgery in August, it is the season! I still see quite well but the ophthalmologist says they are bad and in any case they are not getting better. Some anxiety as good vision is extremely important to me.

Leighton, I feel your pain. I am sure I mentioned this before, but when I had cataract surgery, I was horrified to see the screen with the first eye done and the other eye waiting for it's turn. The color correction on a calibrated screen was beautiful with the corrected eye and the other was yellowish, and yes, the sharpness will be quite different afterwards.

Still having vision problems and now just finished cataract surgery
Just bought a new house in Tallahassee,Fl
and sold the old one getting your eyes worked on and trying to move is a PITA
Plus the dog is sick
Sounds like a country song
Will finish the move this week during it ourselves with help from Uhaul
Doing it in 2 separate trips
No time for photos but hopefully will be able to see better again
Will miss the ocean but instead of it being 15 minutes away I have the Gulf about an hour or so away
Interesting film Huss, very unique colors - a Ferrari 250 we will never see cruising Escondido!
I really want to do film but the development stops me, do not live near any place that does it.

Good luck with the surgery. My wife had it done a few years ago, nothing but a thing. Let us know how it turns out.
