Reagan, good to see you around. Hope the surgery helps. Moving in FL at this time of the year, and AWAY from the water?
Siphewe, my last move was in 1993 and I'm contemplating a big re-do of the house... I must be nuts.

Hang in there, Reagan. I have heard that cataract surgery is life-changing. I hope it gets you back on the photography saddle.
When I last moved (2009) I swore I'll never/ever do it again. Then I decided to renovate the house this year, forcing a move out. Another thing I'm now swearing never to do again. Hope the dog is well soon.
Leighton, great looking tomatoes and complimentary wine.
Regina, excellent capture at the Prudential Center Observatory.
James, terrific detail on the Snake Grass.
Huss, love the color of your photographs specially the pups and the Ferrari red.
Glen great colors with the 20/3.5 UD. The 16/3.5 is also a bomb of a lens.
Rafael, great looking Camaro. Beginning with the 2025 model, the "350" decal will be replaced with Duracell, yikes!
Andy, terrific photographs and colors.
Dean, the Potra 400 rocks! I believe Samy posted photos with the same a while back also with great colors.
Verona from St. Peter's Hill, the highest point of the city and offers fantastic views. There is the option of taking an electric rail car which makes the round trip a breeze.
At last some decent light, Ponte Pietra and Adige River:

Hey Leighton. Not much … they come out NegativeLab Pro looking more or less like this. Usually with my scan presets I use “soft” and “natural” but with Ektar and these cars I went for “standard” and “Pakon” … thought it fitting
Tbh, I tried to get them close to the lab I use back in Adelaide. The guy, Mark, who owns the place is amazing and uses a Frontier but seems to really know what he’s doing as opposed to most labs which must just be on auto pilot. I don’t usually get negs scanned at labs because I prefer my own, but he does an awesome job.
Just for comparison ... these are the same negs scanned at the lab. I think his look better. They just look so perfectly "filmy"

Serge, thanks!
I have been to Italy but have never been to Verona. I love the Italian architecture (my roots are Italian).
Regina, this was our first visit to Verona. It is a great city that does not seems to get as overwhelmed by tourists, like Florence and specially Venice. There are many day trip opportunities including beautiful Lake Garda for rest and relaxation.

Just lurking but I read every post
Still having vision problems and now just finished cataract surgery
Just bought a new house in Tallahassee,Fl
and sold the old one getting your eyes worked on and trying to move is a PITA
Plus the dog is sick
Sounds like a country song
Will finish the move this week during it ourselves with help from Uhaul
Doing it in 2 separate trips
No time for photos but hopefully will be able to see better again
Will miss the ocean but instead of it being 15 minutes away I have the Gulf about an hour or so away
Wow Reagan! Here he is. Great to see you post! Hope the eye surgery is successful and can't wait to see you here posting once again. As for moving, Mama always said not to use four letter words. Sell, Pack, and Move are at the top my list.
Dean,
Personally, I think yours look like more accurate color. Primarily I am seeing (un-calibrated eyeballs only) red over saturation in Mark's - which is most obvious when you look at areas that include asphalt. Both are good - I just prefer your NLP versions.

I'm with Jim, I like yours better. Look at the engine image, the car is more orange in his. I don't know, maybe it was closer to the original color, but I like the red in yours.
