Too busy these days to even just process some photos, Some more from the same outing with 55/1.2. from a several pages back. Dreamy rendering ant 1.2 is quite lovely.
Love the composition on all three. Thanks for inspiring me to get my 50/1.2 out of the bag.

I like. Makes me want to walk down the road.
Thanks Leighton. We are fortunate to live about 8 miles from this park and regularly cycle out there from the house and get our runs in there too. The shaded path and forest surroundings make for cooler runs in the summer.

Luka,
I really like the last one and now you have me re-thinking my lens choices for a trip in Scotland in a week's time.
Maybe time to leave my IR camera kit and Z-glass and at home and devote some quality time to MF on the Z6.
Colin
Thank you Colin,
After getting bunch of z glass, which are all optically superb, I realized how fortunate I am to have so much options.. From MFNG to AFS lenses, Some zeiss and Z glass. 55/1.2 has such a strong character it has its own place. I am appreciative of all different images these lenses provide, flawless to full of character. I am certainly enjoying the rediscovery.

I really like to orange glow from the 28mm 1:2, is it the lens or the processing Glen?
I did not go to the car show as the weather was brutal (105F), here are some older photos pretending to be old cyanotype:
There is some gorgeous tonality going on in your pretend-cyanotypes, Rafael! I suspect this is a result of skilled processing applied to well-taken photos.
The orange glow you are seeing is definitely attributable to processing through Color Efex Pro, mainly due to two filters called "classical soft focus" and "sunlight."

Luka, like others I am inspired by your beautiful images! I had never thought to use the ultra-fast f/1.2 for broad landscapes, even though I possess both the 50 f/1.2 Ai-s and the 55 f/1.2 SC. So you have opened my eyes to a specific type of new possibility.

Luc, thanks for bringing more of the European car world into the thread. The Renault Alpine is my favourite of these cars, and the two Ferraris make me wonder whether they might have been contemporaries of the very similar looking, respectively, Austin Healey and Jaguar E-Type from the 1960's?

These cars are definitely looking for some love, Andy! But they look like they don't really need a great deal of structural work, though they do seem to be a bit of a cosmetic disaster.
Here are a few broad and intimate land/seascapes from Neck Point (where we saw the Orcas). All were taken with the 50 f/1.2 Ai-s on my still shiny new X-T4.

Thanks! These Ferraris are from 1964 and 1965, the E-type was introduced in 1961 and into production until 1974. So you're quite right. Imo the sixties were the Golden Age of car design. The metal bodies of these cars were formed by hand, not by machines. Hence the lovely curves which might even be called sensual ...
I also shot this great looking E-type at that meeting.
But that was him in the first shot. Source of the headlight on the right side
Took the long weekend and went to visit him. We went into Sumter National Forest. Rained all weekend. That is why we were using the D5. It laughs at rain

Hey, was just wondering about you. Love the second one. I see you haven't given your son that D5 yet.
