Lots of activity here in the last few days, still working my way through the pages. Seems like a lot of Nikonos examples from Huss. We don't see that here much.
Here's one from Middlebury, Vermont last week. D850 + 28 3.5 PC DSC_0089 by Maryland Photos, on Flickr
Jay, seriously?? You and Boris are on a first name basis? Did you hold him at bey with the threat of dropping the D850 on him? He did pose nicely for you at any rate.
I was looking through images from my trip to Wimbledon last year - in preparation for a visit to this year's event. I like the way tattoos render in IR so they feature a lot in the candid IR images I present. I like to try to capture people who have gone under the needle....

Mary
I thought everybody knew "Boris the Spider"
Colin - IR casts an unflattering rendering, that ink reminds me of the union trucker emblem in this country!.
Testing my re-lubed 85/1.4 AIS. Thanks to @rafaelcasd for the Dow Corning grease tip. Ended up having to disable it down to the helicoids but working much better now.
Failed attempt to shoot fireflies. Hard to shoot them when they don't show up
I went into the woods after dusk and after a thunderstorm last night, thinking it would be the right combination. Humidity was tropical. Could not see anything through my glasses fogging up. But did do some exposure testing and will give it another try tonight. Much lower humidity today.
Below shot with the Noct and D5. ISO 50, f/1.4. Did an in camera 10 image multiple exposure shot in Lighten mode @ 4 seconds per exposure.
Now I just need the bugs to cooperate. There were a few in this shot, but nothing like most nights. When I am not out to shoot of course.
