Yashica Nicca YF camera with Nikkor 5cm f2 HC LTM version, Acros II developed in HC-110.
Seems like a partially opening shutter issue in some pics. This camera may need to go to the local guy who works on vintage cameras. Hope he doesn't retire anytime soon. The Yashica is a really good looking camera, kind of an early Japanese Leica M look, but with the LTM mount. https://www.cameraquest.com/yashiyf.htm
Nice to see mountain pictures again John.
Continue the Rome tour Serge. Great stuff with fond memories.
Samy, that's a great capture on the cat silhouette.
Winter boredom, revisiting some older stuff, trying to push some boundaries (well, my limited knowledge and boundaries anyway) on B&W processing. 25-50 AIS.
I mounted it on a M39 to Nikon F adapter and the Kipon F to Z helicoid, then took some sample photos. will get some different M42 helicoids to get full range focus with all my M39 lenses.
At 4, this lens is well made but does not have the beautiful iris shape of the 55mm 1.2 CRT or even the 105mm 5.6 EL. On the other hand it is the cheapest excellent macro lens out there 1/10 the price of the CRT.

Early morning walk, testing the 50mm f/1.4 Ai-S after the focus calibration. Wrong EXIF on the second image, forgot to change it back from the 28mm.

Did you use f/1.4 in the second picture?
Both at f/2. I actually consider it an f/2 lens with f/1.4 just for very specific situations. It’s not a very sharp lens at f/1.4 outside a small area in the center, but it sharpens up very nicely at f/2. Seems even slightly sharper than the 1.8G then and relatively close to the 40mm f2 Z.

Right, me too consider my AI 50/1.4 a f/2 lens (and AI-S 50/1.8 a f/2.8 lens).
I got tired of constantly swapping AF and MF lenses on my Z5, so I bought a used Fuji X-T30 from another FM member. The idea is that I will use the Fuji exclusively for MF lenses. I'll leave a Mitakon Zhongyi Lens Turbo II mounted permanently so that I don't have to worry about the crop factor of the APS-C sensor.
A quick photo of some workers scraping and painting the building I work in.
Tomiyama Seisakusho 170, Nikkor-SW 90mm f8 with R720 IR filter, Rollei Infrared 400. View of the waterfront from the top of Federal Hill. The frame looks so clean than what I develop at home. This was developed by thedarkroom in California.
Looking at the various photo forums lately you feel that D/SLRs are going the way of the dinosaurs. Guess I better get a shot of mine before they go extinct
