Amazing view George! And what is immediately evident is how few parts it actually has when you think about it! And I have to say I think my copy at least compares very favorable withttheF mount Ai version! I think the Fmount version shows its evolution, but it's remarkable how the 6x6 version compares in images. I will be excited to see how your overhaul works out! Meanwhile the 75 looks like a winner as well! I am looking at the 40, however I don't like that it is F4 and copies are really expensive. For that price I can just take a few steps backwards and shoot the 50mm. I wish Nikon had made something wider! I do have a lot of wide fmount nikkors I can try though and see if I so happen to find some magic. The more I shoot the 50SII the more I like it! Sometimes we just find gear that works well with us, even if others don't. My DF and D850 are such cameras.

The thing that really keeps me from shoot the wide angle F mounts on the Fuji is you have to crop. At that point you are missing the advantage of the sensor size and might as well shoot the Df or other full frame F mount body and avoid the adapter and get actual aperture control, full function of Nikon on Nikon.
Last of the 50 Field Test shots. It was also a chance to get updated on old routes I took years ago spelunking for photos. Its amazing how fast things change, come and go over the 25 years I have been around here. A lot of homes out in the country abandoned in last 5 years, imagine COVID had a large impact on it all. Sometime I feel lucky to have recorded things after they simply disappear.
Thanks! Just watched the video. I had tried out several of the features but didn't get to others, and will keep in mind the tips this guy had. Got through one roll of film in the past day, let's see what the little brick with a precision swiss watch can do Its funny, in the early 2000s I got my first camera, a Canon S40 which was digital.

Snap! The Canon S40 was my first digital camera. I still have it.
Took a trip up to the SkyDeck in the previously mentioned Eureka Tower before I left Melbourne.
It's not one for people with acrophobia (Fear of Heights). 88th floor, floor to ceiling glass all round and a corner where you can go outside and peer through mesh fencing. There is also a glass cube called The Edge which is hydraulically pushed outside the building with glass floor but that isn't operating due to covid. The SkyDeck has only just reopened.
