Hey Mark - want to see the innards of a Nikkor 135 for Bronica?
One of my holiday vacation projects started today. Take that trash bin 135 that someone gave me before throwing away and see if I can get it going. Well I found the issue with the aperture blades. They are so gummed up they will not move by the lever. Got it torn down to the aperture mechanism today. Will tackle the aperture blades and give them a cleaning tomorrow when I am fresh.

Oh man that 135 is really in pieces. The blades definitely look greasy, hope that cleaning gives you a sharp lens!

Ok, that's it! You are definitely running a camera museum on the side
I don't think I want to compete with that guy in the Staunton museum. It was so funny when he reached into the gaggle of Arguses in a bucket and gave me one

You are the only person I know that can walk into a museum and come out with an exhibit

Amazing view George! And what is immediately evident is how few parts it actually has when you think about it! And I have to say I think my copy at least compares very favorable withttheF mount Ai version! I think the Fmount version shows its evolution, but it's remarkable how the 6x6 version compares in images. I will be excited to see how your overhaul works out! Meanwhile the 75 looks like a winner as well! I am looking at the 40, however I don't like that it is F4 and copies are really expensive. For that price I can just take a few steps backwards and shoot the 50mm. I wish Nikon had made something wider! I do have a lot of wide fmount nikkors I can try though and see if I so happen to find some magic. The more I shoot the 50SII the more I like it! Sometimes we just find gear that works well with us, even if others don't. My DF and D850 are such cameras.

Regan is really Mr. Anderson, of the lens matrix. Lenses are unexplainably rerouted in his direction at times causing havoc.
Regan, I hope you take no offense at my antics, I could resist Leightons banter! I hope you start posting pics soon, we all miss your presence here! You should know every time I see a classic car around these parts, I think to myself, I wonder what Regan would say about it? It's amazing sometimes how we impact each other here!
