Fujifilm X-S10 + adapter + Nikkor 300mm f/4.5K ED non-IF, hand held, ISO 500, f/5.6 at 1/800s. 92% cropped (24/26MP). Unusually the nest is located over an old paving stone!

It is always breeding time over here Jose!
The color and sharpness of the lapwing is very pleasing, natural.
There is one of these 300mm 4.5 ED K lenses for sale on ebay, seller wants too much so I am bidding my time.
Rafael, I am impressed how the Fuji deliver colours and correct exposures.
I was lucky to find a Ebay seller from Japan selling this gem for the same price of the regular non ED 300/4.5!
Hope you can get this one. It is, without a doubt, a sharper lens than the 300/4.5 EDIF ai-s version, and presumibly also sharper than the regular 300/4.5 ai-ais (I do not have).
All the great 55 1.2 recent photos had me posting an old but good one at 1.2.
I should explain to Riccardo that these two fingers are very friendly, unlike the Italian version.
The 55 1.2 can be a great 'nocturnalito' with favorable light. They are very sharp at 1.2.

I remember when you posted these, or ones similar back at the time. I hope things can get rectified for the people of Hong Kong without more violence.
It's all rectified ... the communists have well and truly subjugated the population and locked up the opposition party along with many others. Sad place.

BUT - The only brands I own are Nikon, Nikkor, Nippon Kogaku, Rayfact and Tochigi. (all Nikon)
If you use MF lenses only, there is no reason to use any other camera brand, except perhaps for George's large format.
I would like to thank everyone for their input, it really helped me see past my bias and move forward. An XT-4 will arive in a few weeks with a speed booster and I will take some more time to see if I can love my Z7 for which I truly neglected opting to invest my efforts more in my D850 for my 2019 Big Island trip.
The D500 will still go, and we will see where I end up. I am excited to have yet another Fuji, still have an S5 and S3 lol, yup, digital dinasours! But they are so fun to go shoots every so often, nostalgia is so fun!
So as my medical problems improve,so will my presence here in posting some again.. looking forward to see where I end up!

Sexy lens, it's been awhile Rafael, what lenses do you have in your whole amazing collection? Can you share your approach and philosophy into how you have collected and how you use your lenses please? Just know I am a fan of all you have shared here!

This is a dangerous road, philosophy may be hoarding - low prices on excellent condition lenses.
I love taking one lens at the time and working with it to make images I like. I will be posting more pictures of lenses.
Decided to make and post a list of my lenses, this was off memory, will keep adding detail and serial numbers.

Rafael - sensational pics. The basket lady is a great catch, and the car pic has those wonderful sunset colours you use. And focussing at F1.2, well, I can only salute you. More lens pics, yes, please.
Mark - speaking of colour, that intense red in a sea of (intense) green is very eye catching. How are you finding Luminar?

Damn it Doug, now you got me looking too long. But I finally decided on the 7x5 version because of the slightly more verticality of it. The 3x2 was too much and the the 5x4 wasn't enough. The 7x5 included just enough of the blue water to balance the falls. Of course, this is JMO.
Haha - those were exactly my final feelings, too Leighton - Thx!!
Well, between the votes here and a couple of clicks on my Flickr (and some family member), it was pretty even between the 4x5 and the 5x7. I was leaning 5x7 for the reasons Leighton also stated. Does that mean something in between, like 4x3? No-one liked the 2x3.
The problem is, if one wants a larger print, one is pretty much pigeon holed into either 2x3 or 4x5 (or other longer sizes for panos) One could order a larger 2x3 and cut to 5x7 ratio, I guess, unless it's a specialty surface, like canvass, etc.

It is a great image and well worthy of a large print.
Have you considered Whitewall? They are a German company. They have a 7x5 option (as well as custom sizes)
Example sizes here. https://www.whitewall.com/uk/photo-prints/fuji-crystal-archive-dp-ii
I use them regularly for prints as well as fully framed options. The quality is excellent, packaging superb, and customer service is top notch.
It is fun to upload a picture and try their configurator for framing options etc.
