Leica M246 w/Noct Nikkor. (The M246 estimates f/stop, but was shot at f/2. Exif shows 2.8)
No Dean, I haven’t been able to push myself to get rid of the 246 yet
Have a good weekend folks. Long one here in the US and maybe other areas with all those bank “holidays” you all get

I don’t expect you’ll ever sell it, George.
I think you convince yourself that you WILL sell something as justification for buying something else. You then buy the new gear after the imaginary sale, but when it comes to actually really selling the original gear to fund the new gear … something happens. You get all emotional and remember how good the old gear actually is and how much you love it.
it It’s an affliction, mate. Don’t worry, many of us are suffering along with you. I’ve just started my third round of Ivermectin in an attempt to cure myself. You should try it. It really works.

So, just bought this lens from e-bay, my seventh 55mm 1.2. Bought is as it is the 505th lens made. I have a mint lens of the same series but this one will make a good user on mirrorless. It is not in Rafael condition but it is decent and just belongs here. There were maybe 100,000 55mm 1.2 made in like six versions, quite a different game from like my 15mm 5.6 ai with 600 made, or the 7.5mm 5.6 with 1200.
The 55mm 1.2 is my favorite Nikkor, don't know why, it just is

I just googled this. David Chan’s store is the one he did a video on. He’s very famous for sure but his prices are outrageous… totally outrageous. He does has lots very rare stuff in there that’s mint condition though. I bought one lens from there … I think it was the 105/1.8 Ai-S. Paid way too much.
But, he’s such a nice man. Always immaculately dressed and very polite & friendly. A real old school gentleman. I get my film developed 100m away from his store so I always have a look at the thousands of cams and lenses in his windows while I’m killing time waiting for my film. There’s a few stores in the same arcade. One called “All Good Friends” is also an institution. Lovely old man as well with two sons that operate the store. ...Show more →
Yea that's the one I was thinking of. He does seem like a really nice man.

I'll even put the dog up before you come!
Yea, it has finally cooled a bit. AND...we actually got 3 1/2" of rain from Ida. Have you cooled down?
Less than an inch of rain so still really dry. But night and day difference in temp. Loving it. Actually in southern Va last night and today. Still helping out with my mom, but will be back home later today.
You can keep the dog out. I need some dog love Looking forward to the day when we can get another, but the situation is not there right now.
