That image should never have landed up in the position it found itself, of almost being culled, Colin. I love it.
Thanks Siphiwe.
Since Xmas I have been cleaning out the hard drive. Lockdown has afforded me the time to do so.
Having said that I have to be in the right frame of mind to do it.
Today I reached Sept 2017 and thus still have a large number to get through.
The takeaway is that I need to be more aggressive with my image culling as I go along.
Maybe a dumb question that I figured the folks in this thread would know the answer to: Is there a difference optically between the Zeiss ZF and ZF.2 lenses? I understand the difference in the EXIF data they provide, but are they otherwise the same?

I need to come up with a schema for storing my images separate from the tool I am using for processing. That is my biggest problem, not having proper sorting and categorization. I am doing another 30 day eval on Capture One and just watched a tutorial of theirs for managing images that are not stored in an application catalog. Like you, I really need to be aggressive in what I save.

Like Colin, I'm going through my catalog and am somewhere in 2017. It's a huge chore, but I've cleared up tons of room on my hard drive. It's actually kind of fun revisiting old photos.

I have owned the Zf and ZF.2 versions of both the 35/2 and 50/1.4 and found no difference
but I am not a pixel peeper
The main difference for me was the contacts on the second version which enabled me not to have to put them in the non-cpu menu

Thank you George, I got my whole local family vaccinated as most are healthworkers, even got an appointment for my my ex! , it was pure fortune, opened a page and there were appointments available, now they are really hard to get.
George that is the essence of Plant City, my adjoining town, Been there with Reagan and Jay and reminded that it was where Ray lived. It may be that it's still a town in the mid 20th century that makes it attractive. I drive thru an am still amazed!
