George, I like the idea of the Combo but how well would it work with F-mount glass as far as image circles go? Or, should someone stick to 4x5 lenses? Might be a nice alternative to a tilt/shift lens?

The biggest challenge in using F mount glass in this setup is the flange distance. You would only be able to do close up work because you would not be able to reach infinity focus regardless of the image circle.
The set up above is with a Fuji GFX medium format sensor so I am using large format lenses to be able to get full movements (tilt, swing, rise/fall and shift) as well as infinity focus. You can also use medium format glass with a different lens board, but I have not gone that route yet since I also use the large format lenses on a 4x5 film camera.
You may be able to use F mount lenses in this configuration with a micro 4/3 body, but nothing that I have tried, so can't say for sure. But I would think you would be restricted in doing a lot of movement with the image circle of F mount lenses.

Nice photo, Rafael. I love the sunstar. It really makes this photo.
Thank you Scott!.
Speaking of the 800mm 5.6, the local egret just stopped by to get a local field rat for lunch. I always thought he came for the oranges.
Look at these photos at 200% on flickr and go buy the lens.
I can only use it on the Z6, the red focusing highlights light up the eyes making it easy to focus. on the DSLRs it is guaranteed failure, also the VR has to be off in the camera or it works against you.
Sorry for the simplistic reply, but WOW! I have always been very interested to know how this lens performs on a modern DSLR. I am impressed by the sharpness and lack of chromatic aberrations. Thanks again for the info.
