Well for the first time since 1971 I don't own a camera
Sold the Fuji off and all I have are 3 Nikon Lens
I miss it already
Ashamed to admit that I get attached to inanimate objects
Still miss the Chevelle

I was bringing a camera with me everywhere after my loss. Occasionally I would hear him play the muse and tell me to turn around, and a wonderful scene would be in front of me.
It's not a MF shot, so I'll just link to it from my zenfolio
My jaw fell, the camera went up.It's with the 200 f/2. In the upper part of the middle, there is an airplane. In full size, you can see the silver fuselage, and the birds in the tree.

Maybe you could fly the drone while your riding

I don't know if you're joking or not Reagan but they can absolutely do that now ! Just like a dslr they can even track you when objects appear between you and the drone. The latest stuff has collision avoidance systems, flight patterns, hover, stabilisation, return to home when low battery, GPS, optical zoom, Hassleblad 1" cmos sensor, HDR, time lapse, you name it.

What a dramatic scene Peter ! Why is Tabletop Mountain flat on top, do you know?
Andy
Hi Andy
Table Mountain is part of the Cape Fold Belt that extends up the South Coast of Africa for about 800Km. It has a granite base and various layesr of metamorphosed sandstone. The top layer has ben eroded over (a very long) time.

My aging eyes are struggling with some of my MF lenses and I have a couple that I want to get rid of - if anyone here is interested PM me.
They are
300 f4.5 EDIF - also TC14B that works only with lenses 300mm or longer
28 f3.5 PC
28-45 4.5 Zoom
At this stage I'm hanging on to the 80-200 f4 and 105 f2.5 as they're good for macro using live view.

Somewhere I saw an ad for a drone that tracks and follows you.
Just ordered a dji mavic air 2 Samy. It follows you, avoids obstacles, shoots in hdr, up to 8k or 4k/60fps. Range of up to 6 miles.
Amazing bit of kit.
Much have been happening lately on the forum. Lot´s of goodies. Hope everyone's alright!
I´ve mostly been able to go out late in the evenings lately (well, it feels like 80% of the time it´s night time this time of the year). It´s snowing right now, hope it´ll not melt down until tomorrow...
We’re in Long Boat Key and unseasonably cold. I saw a 16mm 2.8 on Craigslist for $149 and its like new. Truly a Raphael A++ grade. Belonged to a retired US Navy photog who sold off everything he had over his 30 year career and this was the last to go. Now I have 2, so I’ll be selling “1.”
A couple more to showcase the 200/4 AI-s. The image quality of the 180/2.8 ED is definitely better, but this lens is so much smaller and lighter and easier to carry around for hours.
The flanks of 45-mile distant Mt. Hood look blurry due to atmospheric schlieren, but the midde and foreground show that the lens is sharp.
