Just say “No!” You know I’ll never part with the Df. On the other hand the “810” is still packed and waiting from the last time I packed it up for you. As it’s pre-pandemic packing there’s a surcharge 😃😃😃😃😃

We’re in Long Boat Key and unseasonably cold. I saw a 16mm 2.8 on Craigslist for $149 and its like new. Truly a Raphael A++ grade. Belonged to a retired US Navy photog who sold off everything he had over his 30 year career and this was the last to go. Now I have 2, so I’ll be selling “1.”
Unseasonably cold? But no doubt still warmer than the UK.
I had to scrape ice off the windscreen the other day and we will be lucky to get above 45F during the daytime.
Nice catch on the 16mm b.t.w. You can probably make a profit on the sale of #1.

We absolutely love LBK! It's a little bit of a trek from Atlanta, but well worth bypassing the busyness of the panhandle.

We just spent a week at Captiva Island near Ft Myers
and it was 80 and sunny all week
We are right on the Gulf with the beach at the front door. By saying it’s dropped into the 40’sF (5C) the heating inside was wishful thinking. That and two days of rain and being toooooo cooold for the usually fantastic sunsets!
Live beach camera from where we stay
Hold your mouse over the picture and on the bottom right corner make it full screen
I watch the sunset every night

Thinking of getting a drone for my trip as I've had sell all my astro gear I have a bit of spare $$$.
What one do you have Dean ?
Andy
A DJI Mini 2. I don't actually own it ... it's my friend's drone. Not sure I'd actually use one enough to justify buying one, but for some hikes it would be cool getting some arial shots. It's quite amazing considering how tiny this thing is.
Took yesterday off and went for hike on the "Dragon's Back" trail in Shek O country park and made my way to the beach. Around 10km with some detours. Not a difficult hike but a nice one.
The conditions were pretty hazy & bright at the beginning but cleared up nicely by the time I got to the beach.
Been several years since I owned a Series E 100mm. Took it out for a short walk to clear the head, and remembered why it’s so well regarded for what was an inexpensive lens. Taken with the Z5.
Always nice to see wonderful pictures on this mother of all threads. Regan demanded and everyone said "Hold my camera bag" .
Jay, I'm forever amazed at what you can do with the 24mm PC-E. A very beautifuly captured bloom.
Dean, your film pictures are everything, as usual.
AdaptedLenses, I'm loving the tones in your B&Ws. I learned through this thread that some E lenses of the manual kind are quite special. Yours seems like one of those I may need to keep an eye out for as 100ish is a field of view I'm partial too. It's over-represented in my lens choices. Sadly though, I've only ever seen one Series-E lens for sale in my neck of the woods, and it's a 50mm. I'm lost on 50mm.
Parting shots with the Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8. Did I say before it's so small? It is, and takes 52mm filters...and it's a joy to mount and use.
After coming across that post earlier in the week of 70 old film being discovered, this weekend I am on a quest to develop the various sheets still sitting in film holders (5 I think) and 3 rolls lingering around. Let's see how many I get through these 2 days.
Now I have my 16/3.5 AI I’m after a circular fisheye. There’re are the 6/2.8 and 8/2.8 but both are very expensive. There’re the 7.5/5.6 and 2.1/4, but I’m not sure if I can use them on a Z camera.
