*Colin, the fall colors don't seem too early at all. Beautiful.
*Scott, looks like you've got (had?) great color this year at Letchworth. I like how you're telling a story with the bench, along with the usual first rate technical execution.
*Dean, great work with my favorite film camera ever. Though I don't shoot film anymore somedays I wish I still had an F3HP.
*Steve, thanks for the story behind the shots, always enjoy those.
*Ken, I'd trust a bridge if it's on well maintained and used route. These days with the annual inspections required since the Minneapolis bridge collapse you'd start to see conservative load limits (like this one) way before anything else. Of course, the Minneapolis bridge collapse was determined to be a design issue (and construction dead load), not maintenance or aging issue, so maybe that Vette and occupants should stay off the bridge. Question is, were you on the bridge while another vehicle was driving on it?
*Roberto, enjoyed the picture from a part of the world we don't see often.

Colin and Steve masterful seascapes with great composition and subjects!
George has Reagan been a bad influence on you!
Raphael the spherical shot all red put me in the Christmas spirit. Looked like a decorative bulb!
This is the "swinging bridge" in the Lake Ozark Missouri area. Walked it because I didn't trust it. Weight limited to 3 tons and then the van, at least 3000 lbs, pictured last went over it like nothing!

Hallo everybody, I'm happy to see that the thread is stille well alive and popular.
I have been exploring the M42 lens world for a while but never stopped to use Nikon old manual focus lenses.
For my last travel (it's one year ago already!) I decided to go for 24mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and 105mm f/2.5, all AIS.
I have tried to shot some hand held pictures to be assembled in a sticking software and at home I upgraded my free usual ICE to PTGui, excellent software in my opinion with more option to get a better result.
Ray, when I said we had arrived too early it was because of the wider view. I was hoping for more yellow and orange in the canopy. You can make out the red Acers in a previous posted picture.
Colors are still muted but beginning to show in my part of the world.
More shooting with the PC Nikkor 28mm (aka Nikko). With the large image circle I think it handles the medium format sensor quite well and think it will be in the bag for wide shooting going forward on the GFX 50R.
Below the Raleigh NC state capital building from a walk this afternoon. Shot with lens rise.

Not on the bridge when a vehicle crossed since it’s basically one lane. Didn’t seem to substantial and I doubt it’s been recently inspected! It’s fairly flimsy with boards placed within an angle iron road bed with more boards used as a tire track.
