Thank you, Phong. I must admit the Df is way more camera than my capabilities allow. I'm just drawn to it because the combination with the FMNG is such a joy to use. I feel more at home on DX.
My confessions, I've left my dx cameras quite long time.
I would take some photos and be back to old school Nikon images topic.
Going stir crazy being cooped up and nothing but Zoom/Webex meetings at work. So going down another rabbit hole (maybe).
A new bokeh monster combo. The original Noct and many of the fast Nikkor primes have an image circle that will cover digital medium format.
Posting an example of a quick shot of the Noct wide open on a Fuji GFX 50R. With the 0.79 crop factor with adapted 35mm lenses, it has a FOV equivalent of approx 46mm @ f/0.95
Some small mums and leaves on the back deck at the house. I intentionally underexposed using in camera Classic Chrome film style.

Ah-ah. Another Fuji convert then. Temporary of permanent?
That might bring Leighton to the fore.

Today it is leaning to the permanent side of the fence. Move the Leica 262 and maybe the D850 out of the herd (keep the Monochrom).
So far the Noct, 85mm f/1.4, 105mm f/1.8 and f/2.5, 200mm f/4 and f/2 all cover the sensor with no vignetting. The Noct just barely. Had to remove the hood and even the filter to get no vignette. To shoot wider, have to shoot cropped to avoid vignette with the exception of the 28mm PC. Can even shift quite a bit with that lens and it give 22mm equivalent FOV.
Metabones makes a Nikon F to GFX focal expander that optically expands the image circle, but honestly not sure I would even want to shoot wider than 22mm equivalent.
Obviously get best results with native glass and would probably go that route for wide-angle. But really impressed so far with the Nikkor primes above 50.
I am testing it with the native GF 50mm f/3.5 lens. Incredible.
Many more lens to test before I have to return. Maybe
With the 180 f2.8 AIS. Not the most vibrant of images, but this was very early in the morning and the sun was a long way from providing illumination into the canyon, and I chose to leave the somewhat muted color as I remembered it.

Colin was right, this did bring me out of the shadows!
Wow George, this is some news, getting rid of the 262, plus the D850 and moving to the Fuji medium format. Actually, I think it's wise since you plan on keeping the monochrom, which BTW, I love the images you've shared with this.

I did see that news, but 102 megapixel is a little much for me. The 50R I am shooting is used and has less than 1500 shots on it. Can't tell it was not new. Not to mention costs less than new too.

Steve, very interesting canal device, I am an electronic engineer, not sure how all that metal floats, but it conveniently does so we can stuff it full of stuff.
