A few more images with the AIS-era 35/2.8 PC lens on D800e. Most shot at f/5.6-8.0. (Again, please forgive the incorrect manual lens listing of "300mm" on a couple shots -- all are the 35 PC lens.)
Do you want a Multiphot lens set? could cut you a deal.
You are trying to get me to trade that Noct aren't you
Actually after testing and inspecting the Multiphot lens set very carefully, externally they are beautiful but internally here is the condition:
12cm 6.3 - nearly perfect, no dust, no scratches, the faintest mark in an inner element that nobody else will probably ever be able to see.
65mm 4.5 - perfect in every way.
35mm 4.5 - Dusty with little paint flakes, could be easily cleaned.
19mm 2.8 a little dusty with paint flakes, rear element damaged in a strange way, like many little pin pricks.
I don't really do macro, bought them as rare items, the ones I used perform admirably.
Verdict - They are going back as the seller takes returns. I paid $2475 which was a fair price except for the condition of the 19mm 2.8. I could resell them for more, but I have a job already. I may become a lens trader when i retire, not now.
If anyone here is interested let me know, or bid on them when the ebay seller posts them back up.
All taken with the Nikon 50/1.4 Ai-S and the Nikon F3HP. Kodak Portra 400
The 50/1.4 Ai-S has always been one my favourite lenses I think. It's the perfect size for walking around and is super sharp even wide open. I prefer it over the 50/1.2 AI-S. I'm still waiting for my Nikkor-S.C 50/1.4 to come back from conversion & CLA. Will be interesting to see how that stacks up against the other two.
Pretty close - too close in this case but greater than social distance rules. Lens set to f/8 and focussed at 2m.
24mm is a bit tight on the crop sensor for close proximity shooting. Had to crop the image a bit too.
This young family had stopped near an alley way that grants access to a small shopping mall so it wasn't as if I deliberately wandered right up to them. They were in the way so I couldn't resist a candid.

Yesterday I went on my first serious outing with the 50mm f1,2 AIs on the Z6. Focusing is relatively easy with peaking and zoom function.
I didn't write down or remember the specific apertures, sorry about that.
