I had better put on my thinking cap in order to participate in the pandemic challenge.
Pity the day job is going to get in the way but that makes it even more interesting.

Looks like 12 days, Kevin.
The projected end of our lockdown is in 10 days but I think it will be gradually eased - right now #12 isn't legal as only essential trips (food, medicine, doctor) are allowed.
I hadn't thought about a time but as Peter notes we each are operating under our own restrictions. I'd say one a day for each challenge is reasonable... and should keep us from getting into too much trouble... but I recall the treasure hunt at TrekEarth. I WON IT! And i probably did because I was in a RUSH... So do what you can as fast as it feels comfortable to go. There is no prescribed order to any of this, so have at it! And enjoy yourself. My guess is that each of us will be drawn to one or more o these and will jump right in. HAVE FUN!
Many thanks to everyone who commented or likes my previous images! The 500mm AI-P sure is a treasure.
Here are a few images more, all shot @f4:
Canada Goose / Branta canadensis
Common Moorhen / Gallinula chloropus
Mandarin Duck / Aix galericulata ♂
Common Blackbird / Turdus merula ♂
Yellow-bellied slider / Trachemys scripta scripta
These water turtles are not native to Germany, they originate from the southeast of the US. They are a popular pet, but many people find them too much to handle and care for after a while and release them into the wild. It remains unclear if they can successfully reproduce in the wild, given the less than optimal habitat conditions. This particular fellow seemed quite content though.
The way things are going here (no curve flattening in sight, seems like trajectory of the space shuttle launch going up at a steady, acute angle) the lockdown may not end anytime soon.
Will stay away from photographing through store windows, I don't know how that will be looked upon nowadays. I can see myself having to explain how its not my fault, I got the idea from this popular thread on the Internet But there seem to be several other items in Curtis and George's list that should keep me occupied this weekend. Might even get to try out some techniques I learned from George a couple weeks ago
Tora, you are a welcome addition to this thread with your ongoing 500 AI-P series! Keep them coming and it might even shame me to haul my 500 out and try and get some backyard birds with it.
Food is in stores though... peek in the window first

Then I have to query a challenge that list 12 challenges - but states that we should go enjoy the 11 challenges in the text
Inquiring minds
Obviously all in fun
Nikon is everything to me
Steve
I trust you to work it all out Steve and if you're having trouble, just re-read the last sentence and follow the instructions. It will all work out in the end...
I thought about selfies but I too was concerned about frightening children...
Like the circles Colin... I'm guessing there is a wedge on each size since it is difficult to imagine that pyramid would remain standing without a bit of help. Very clever treatment. I have a simpler one but today is a busy day for some reason and my camera is stilling in the trunk of my car. Maybe later.
Keep em coming folks... though Steve, you can do better than that... a cloud, a bird, a tree limb? That looks like a sensor check...
Aa it turns out Steve and I had the same idea today -not dressing up to scare kids but to take advantage of cloudless skies in the UK.
IT was a lovely crisp morning that made me reach for the D7100 IR + 24/2.8 NC before breakfast and take a snapshot from the back door.
I added the top of an oak tree. My sensor needs a deep clean.
PPC #5 Day or Night Sky (I guess the IR processing answers on both accounts)
been absent after being annoying. Took a precipitous fall this weekend, distracted by my dogs and the pool vacuum, It really hurt and my left foot took the worst of it, but happily I am healing fast.
