Here is a recent 58mm f/1.2 shot that I entered in the weekly assignment this week. The DOF is so thin that I was able to get the frame for the mirror in sharp focus, but keep the surface of the mirror blurred. The idea is that seeing yourself as you are or knowing yourself is difficult.
The real reason is that your reflection is 2x the distance of the frame.

I have issues directly embedding to FM threads via flickr which doesn't make a lot of sense.
It's actually quite easy once you figure out their method,
from your Flickr feed, click the image, which brings you to the comments page for that image, just above the image is "actions" an envelope, Facebook & Twitter icons and an upside down triangle, click the last one, click "Grab the HTML/BBCode" tab if it's not open, then select "BBCode" and the size you wish, then all you do is copy the text in the box and paste it in the FM reply box and you're done. If you don't like all the text under your image, just copy the first 3 lines.

Anyone want to sell their Rokkor 58mm f/1.2?
Plan to use it on a EOS 5D II, so either original mount or EOS converted.
I have been outbidded too many times on ebay...
PM me, or send me a Flickr-mail!
Even though I have hardly used mine(due to mirror issues) I won't be selling it.
May I suggest a WTB in the buy &sell, or increase your max bid.

below you see some of my favored rokkor 58mm pictures at f/1.2 on E-520 and then 5D MarkII. i hope, they are not too many ....
best, L.
When it's pictures of this quality, more is better, although you should number them and/or break them up into sets of 4-5, as it makes it easier to comment on them.
Great stuff, thanks for posting.
Great shots everyone!!
