I will post shots of my Leica R lenses on the NEX-5 later (90mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8) but since we seem to be posting general mirrorless shots with 'regular' lenses, here's some from this fall on the NEX-5. So far I'm finding DR and color are excellent and the for the price, the lenses are also pretty good:
Love it Vern, especially the Lundbrek Falls bridge shot. I hike down those steps many a time to take a few shots. Love the composition and colors. Something about the bridge that draws me back.
I also like the Larch Valley shot looking at the mountains gives a feeling of winter until I see all those Larchs with needles still clinging on then it feels like a warm autumn day.

Congratulations, Vern, very nice set! Care to indicate how you do your PP for the NEX 5? Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the kind words. PP for the NEX is a lot like PP was for the Nikon D90. I always shoot RAW (Except for the sweep panos of course) and develop in Lightroom. For the RAW photos it's usually a bump in fill light and then just tweaking the local contrast and some saturation adjustments. Sharpening is always done on output.
I find the NEX has good DR which allows the in-camera jpg to be pretty good when you do sweep panos.
You've made a very good use of these otherwise average lenses. As always it is a photographer that matters most.
Yeah - other than the 18-200 they are quite average. Of course the 18-200 makes some compromises as well considering it's zoom range. I can't wait for some high quality glass in the E mount...
Ok folks. Bad weather today but here are the first shoots of my new old Leitz Summarit 1.5/5cm. This lens is low contrast and needs some boost within Lightroom for the right colors. The bokeh is unique. Too bad the NEX have only a crop sensor. Hopefully Sony release a fullframe NEX someday.
I just picked up a NEX5 and pulled out some old Olympus OM lens, 28mm F/3.5 (2) 50mm F/1.8, 85mm F/2, and a 200mm F/4. I ordered a rainbow imaging adapter for the OM mount and it arrives on Wednesday. I might get a chance to use it when I go to Disneyland over Thanksgiving so I will try and put up some examples of these lenses. Has anyone tried these before on the NEX5?

definitely a character lens. i really like the effect in the second and 3rd shots. definitely doesn't look as hazy as my nikkor HC 5cm f/2.
Thanks. I have been going out daily before they closed some of these roads for winter. Today was the last day. Took my smaller bag it only holds 6 lenses. I changed what I took for each trip. Today was a little warmer 0C but the winds made it at times feel like like -10C.
