I left Friday Harbor on 7/3 and flew to Boeing field. I've not travelled this far in several years!
We swung in to the farmers market downtown, which did not disappoint:

I don't remember taking the shot M9 with a 35 or 28 past f/8 can be shot very fast. This moment came and went in a blink, looks like I was at infinity---I'm not practiced enoung to automatically pull into the zone. M9 + Luigi retro looks soften many a glance. On the fly I don't even think of review, so your head stays clean, like the camera

Tacoma Freedom Fest takes place along the waterfront parkway which is closed to traffic for the day. A popular access is a new nature park and trail from the neighborhood bluffs above down some switch-backs through a natural coast forest, formerly full of sewage and the homeless, Here locals emerge from the trail to the parkway:

Nice shots all. More shots from the Calgary Stampede. The lighting for the daily Pow Wow is horrid. A lot of PP needed to overcome the harsh sunlight and shadows.
Human Statues inside the Art Show Building. It is very dark inside.
I noticed a new but small Leica booth setup at the local mall. They don't carry any M system or higher end stuff, but they had the T, X2, X Vario, some compacts and binoculars. I briefly played around with the T and 18-56 lens, the touch screen interface is nice and the build quality is solid but it didn't really draw my interest that much.
