Ron, I never thought I would live until I see an M held at arms' length and Germany win the WC again. Both happened (Though I credit the positive vibes I have been sending to the Mannschaft all along the tournament to be at least partially responsible for the victory!)

At first I feared the 50 cron would be a little tight for me at this event, and thought maybe I'd made a mistake to leave my 35 back at the house. Now I'm very glad I forced my own hand and reminded myself what a wonder the later crons really are. This one is the really small one, v4 with a tab.
It was good on both my Nex-5 and the A7s, but the M9 really loves this lens it seems.

Thanks Edward - I've just moved back to the UK and took an M240 for a test drive out of the Mayfair Leica Boutique for an hour or so as my first feeler with a rangefinder. I asked nicely and they strapped on a 35mm summilux for me, but I'm sorely tempted by the 35 Biogon and 50 Planar combo.
Hope you liked the RF experience Phil! The 50/35 is a great combo, I can vouch for that. They also take the same hood and filter size. Judging from your shooting style, I think the M will suite you well. Hope to see more of your work soon

^welcome to the thread Phil, I also remember some of your nice images from the Zeiss thread. You picked a great lens for a 35mm, looking forward to see more of your work

You don't say. That ZM25 certainly is very sweet-looking... though if/when I'm in the market for another ZM I'll probably be eyeing the 21 instead.
