Nice set Charlie. I like the 1st three and the story telling but my favorite of the set is the 13th if I count right. That is the burned out tree. Looking at it I can see a humanlike shape, with some hair on top a head, neck and shoulders and then sort of a skeleton like body. Very nice capture.
Joakim- Rock, paper scissors every morning. They probably used to wrestle but the ground is pretty rocky. Nice shot.
My guess is that the bigger digger is in a different license class. Probably the guy who gets paid more is the one who gets to drive the bigger rig (life's unfair like that, so my theory seems legit). Although I'd probably show up to work earlier then everyone else so I could claim the big guy if all things were equal.
I took both M240 and M9 in a morning walk at Great Falls National Park on the Maryland side. Here are jpeg file directly from the cameras (other than resizing).
ocean2059 - 2nd and 3rd are my favourites, but I'm on a laptop tonight so the images are a bit big for my screen, had to scroll sideways.
Katie - The little guys cab seems more centre, makes it's visually more appealing. Also a nicer colour IMO. But that big fellow looks like it'll do more damage!
Charlie - I like your pluton quip but also that shot that has the shapes of the intrusion mirrored by the trees.(your 1st of 2 recent posts). 2nd post - also love the tortured trunks and the blackened human trunk!
Adam - great portrait.
Sal, hilarious seeing those large tripods and rigs ( I've been 'there' too of course). Beautiful close up.
Burningheart - I prefer the M9 results to the M240, particularly your 1st shot from the NP in Maryland.

Sal, my entrée into Leicaland was exactly as you describe. I don't often post on here because quite frankly I don't believe my output shapes up sufficiently, however that doesn't detract from personal enjoyment.
Your comment about a film Leica prompted me to post. I have an M6 Classic that I use a little and enjoy, however I have been intrigued for some time about owning an M3, despite its frameline support for only 3 focal lengths, starting
with 50. I wanted to experience the supposedly highest build quality of the earliest Ms and possibly get one from my birth year.
I bought a bargain-grade DS M3 from KEH about amonth ago and I have been really pleased with it. Simple things like the feel of advancing the film and tgged well-known clarity of the viewfinder give great satisfaction.
Sad day said goodbye to my Zeiss 25 and Zeiss 50 Planar today. They were exhibiting flare and a small section would not capture IR wavelengths. Returned them both to the camera store.

Nice, I need to take my 90 out to play. Its been on the shelf way too long. Mine is the 90 Summarit, but no matter, always liked, though rarely used the focal length.

lenticular11- thanks for sharing the beautiful M3. In mid July I will have my 9th surgery since my accident 4 years ago. My right shoulder and shutter finger will be out of commission for several months but will probably look for a nice M6 when I am healed.
Edward - when I see the deep and rich colors in your images, I do not understand the complaints about the M's sensor.

What's nice on e the A7 is the wide open shooting is so easy with my summarit 90 and the telyt 135. While not as clean as the M9, the A7 makes some very nice images with these lenses.
