I was actually considering that, at the time I liked it, so I went with it, of course, they can be reprocessed when I have more time... BW Phil, you purist you. Interesting though, I do wonder...
Fursan - you sure get around! At least your wife tells you to hurry up... My girlfriend just keeps walking without looking back. A couple years ago while walking along Lake Geneva from Villeneuve (at the eastern end) to Montreux (some here might remember those photos), I ended up probably ~45 minutes behind her and our friend. It was great late afternoon light and sunset.. As I've told her many times, the sun stops for no one. When the light's amazing, you can't come back later.
Doug - very dramatic landscapes! You're certainly in a very picturesque area.
Jud - thanks - excellent sets from Vegas! I agree with Bob, each of the street scenes tells a story and great angles at the sign graveyard - a place I could probably spend hours, or all day.
Aleksandar - great atmosphere in your images. I think the bold processing works well.
Joakim - busy shooting Sony? I like her look and how you captured the moment. Someone you know, or just a random stranger?
Jawad - nice feeling of motion in the first one.
Adam - the plant details work for me, particularly the second.
Joe - love the colors of the after work images. Looks like it was a good time, too.
Dexter - thanks. It's a given there will always be someone better or more talented than any of us - I'm just trying my best by showing how I see things.
A break from the wedding photos...
Was in Washington DC at the end of October, but only had part of the afternoon to wander around west end of The National Mall area... One from the Lincoln Memorial:
M9 & 21 SEM, cropped a bit
Funny thing - all the tourists go and see Lincoln's statue, get their photos with him, then take off. Almost no one wandered around the rest of the monument. Very peaceful on the backside (other than the car traffic).

^^^^your image make me want know about you, your story. Thanks for sharing with us your wonderful journey. Fursan
Thank you zhangyue. I am grateful. Just simple people ( the wife and I ) traveling and meeting other simple folk.
Along the way we climb some mountains, take some pictures and share it with friends.
And thanks to all other friends for giving me of their time to comment and ' like '.
Ron, she was just a random stranger and I haven't done much shooting at all lately due to the short days we have right now in Sweden.
This weekend I will participate in a street photo works-shop with Eric Kim which I am really looking forward to and of course I'll be using my M9.
Arka, definitely the first one. The wave and the white clouds works very well together and the wave also fills out some space that is just empty in the second one,
Amazing shots, everyone. I have not been taking many images, with the M240 and still experimenting with the A7r. Not much time for either, but I have been appreciated the great shots here
Arka, 2nd one for me. I like the dramatic contrast between sky and peaceful sea. without tide, the frame is also feel well defined and better composed for me. If that make any sense
for the 2nd one, I will also use digital ND filter to dramatic sky a little, but that is personal choice.

Kindest regards.
What a wonderful world! A life I am dreaming about simple is great!
I just wake up from that dream and sent my kids to school and come to work
Adam, I like the soft pastel processing on your 50Cron APO shots, really nice.
Fursan, I continue to enjoy your pics and explorations through various continent! I like the little motives (eg girl running, clouds from chimneys, etc) you add to the layers in your composition, really nice! Thanks for sharing.
Doug, excellent landscapes and scenes.
Ron, that is an excellent capture, I really like the mystery and ambiguity from the shadow play framed with the National Monument in the background. Funny, how I have been there but didn't find such nice angles to shoot
Arka, both excellent but I slightly prefer the 2nd composition, more peaceful and without the distraction of the whites from the water, but I guess everyone has their own preference.
Joakim, nice shot with the 35Cron and enjoy your workshop. Share some pics when you are done!

A few more from my visit to Kuala Lumpur last month. All 50 0.95
If 50mm was my preferred focal length, this could be all the lens I need. Its quite amazing how it can be so sharp at f/0.95 (at least in the center of the frame). The biggest negatives as others have mentioned is the purple fringing from f/0.95 to about f/2. The lens also have a tendency to flare quite a lot when shot against the light.
Also, an interesting observation which others have mentioned in the past, the way this lens draws wide open can sometimes deceive us with a telephoto perspective. For example, in #2 above which is uncropped, it almost feels like it was shot with a 85mm or a 90Cron.
