Allen, more great street and cityscape photos. I particularly like the white shoes/white line shot on p794 and the one with 2 lamp posts on the following page.
Katie, I like your b&w conversions. The photos of your son in from of (hypnotized by ? ) the TV are very good.
Michael, beautiful b&w photos of your daughter on p724
Ryan, great set from the birthday celebration. The50 Nokton and the MM also seems like a great combo.
Peter, very nice b&w landscapes.
Gary, great photos from that excursion. Favorite is the first with the Oly 28 and also the abstract one with the 21 SEM. Very good composition with the Voigtlander 15mm, I also have that lens but I haven't gotten many keepers (so far).
Edward, great portrait.
Charles, the 50 Cron Rigid looks like a great lens with beautiful colors. and with macro capabilities too! Great photos from the Swell Sculpture festival.
Bruno, very nice b&w
Bruno, very nice B&W captures.
Adam, the macro shots are with 50 Summicron Rigid Dual Range. This lens is an extraordinary lens, made from brass, and is wonderfully engineered. The lens normally will not work fully with the M9/M240. It will work in macro mode, and in normal mode from 1m to 4m. If you focus any further, the near focusing/macro mode cam interferes. Since this lens, now with the M240 is best used with LV in macro mode, the cam can be modified marginally still maintain full functionality and will then work with the M240. The macro range is from 47cm to 88cm, while normal is from 1m to infinity. The beauty of the focusing ring is, it is slightly longer, but very smooth and accurate. I have also found that in RF mode, the lens is very accurate to focus too
If you're like me and want to try one of those film-pack plugins but are not willing to pay for it until you tried it yourself there is now an excellent opportunity to do so since DxO and Sony is giving one away for free. I don't know how it stand up against the ones from VSCO but hey, it's free
Here is one of mine converted with the Fuji Velvia 50 preset
The images from the CV15 remind me of how good it can be can be. Sold mines because I wasnt using it, but sometimes I wish I hadn't.
Joakim, thanks for the link for the film pack.
Bruno, I like the cooking shot, its so candid.
Charles, the DR seems like a good for closeup too, i bet it would make for a very versatile lens once you get it back.
Michael, I like the b&w shot, where is this?
Peter, love #4.
Lately, I converted a lot of shots to B&W. I hope I didn't catch that condition that causes people to buy a Monochrom
Sorry, guys, I lost track of with which camera everyone is shooting. Can you please list the camera you have. I find it interesting because the M8, M9 and M240 render quite different.
Gary and Jabber, thank you
Michael, thank you Beautiful set of images. The B&W is my favourite.
Bruno, very nice B&W series
Joakim, love the composition!
Peter, very nice, particularly #1, 2 and 3.
Allen, excellent graphic composition.
Gary, beautiful shot!
Some more shots from the other day with the 50 Cron Rigid and M240. The lens is unique when stopped down, it is very sharp, yet pastel in its rendering of colours.
Jabberwokt - who needs a MM when you can get conversion like THAT? Great job!
Bruno - looking good - that last one looks like a horror movie!
Zhangyue - as always
Peter - Gorgeous landscapes. I love the waterfall long exposure ... must try one soon now that I have the RRS L bracket!
Allen - I always look forward to your posts. You have such unique and excellent compositions.
Gary - the Hotel might want to use that shot in their advertising! Makes me want to go for sure. Beautiful.
Seekuh - I shoot with an M-E. I'm one of very few on here... most frequent posters here have either a MM or 240.
Charles - WOW WOW. I ADORE the last shot here. They are all so soft and wonderfully lighted. Really great work.
NOW - IF ANY OF YOU ARE THINKING OF SELLING YOUR CV 21 1.8, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE YOU LIST IT. I'm in the market and keep missing out on them. Also, if anyone is thinking of getting the CV 15; let me know as I am probably about to list mine FS soon.
Muc_marlin I have a question for you. Since u use all your lenses in one outing, what is your thought process behind bringing them all on a trek with you, and when do you use one over the other?
