My M9 sensor failed (for reason you'll never thought about and I don't feel like talking about it 🤣 ). I got myself an M10-P which I've been avoiding for the longest time, and I'm glad I did! Love the colors, not quite M9, but close enough to live with (with lots of extra like low light performances and quiet shutter). Meanwhile I'm hunting down for another M9 but I may change my mind due to how nice the M10-P actually is!
I don't really share photos of my son, even though he makes up something like 90% of my photography. This was from a community fishing event, the light reflecting off the pond was a little much for the meter in the old M240 so I kind of eyeballed the exposure.
How do y'all feel about Leica lenses but not Leica bodies? The L mount thread is very slow moving but I feel obligated to post there since I am using S1R with Leica glass...
Had a little fun in San Francisco with the new to me SEM 21mm. The first image is a walking ad for a CPA firm. Joseph, the painter in the second image is also a film photographer. I need to learn to get closer with this lens.

I support any gear or combination that adds to your enjoyment of photography. But this thread is about Leica cameras so I think you are posting in the correct L mount thread.

Tim,
When were you in Chinatown? I was there Thursday and Friday and was actually photographing the guy who made that mural... he was wearing a completely different set of clothes when I took the shot... I'll post mine later today or tomorrow.

Bruce, I was there Saturday afternoon. It was just a quick trip to pick up something at the Leica store and shoot with the SEM 21 for a few hours. It was interesting chatting with Joseph while he finished painting that mural. Given the so-so light from the fog I wished I had taken my M10M instead.
