Taken some years ago, I never paid any attention to this photo. Today though, I was struck by its framing and composition, which enhance the immediacy of the image; and (with the 21 mm field-of-view) show the helter-skelter configuration of small night markets in the side streets of central Bangkok, as well as showing the darkness of these places in the absence of streetlights, with the fluorescent lights on food carts creating striking colors.
