My Wife Denise and I have been busy these past 4 days setting up our new home in Parma, Italy. So much to do I haven't had time to go out a shoot much yet. Things are moving along at an Italian pace, which means slowly. All our furniture vendors have of course missed their deadlines for delivery. Thank God for IKEA where we can just pick some minor things up. We are having to stay in a hotel until the beds, couches, chairs, and tables arrive. In the meantime we doing our part to boost the EU economy. !
Today we are heading down to Bologna for lunch and to visit the Leica Store there. In the mean time here are a few images I managed to shoot around time as we went out to get supplies or eat.

Congrats on your new home, looks lovely. Italy is a place we want to visit as a family in the very near future. I just got back from a trip to Germany and Denmark which was beautiful. All the best to you there !

Yes. In the past we went there for a Month every Summer with the kids and Grandkids. Since the Grandkids are U.S./ Italian dual citizens like I am we feel it important that they know Italy and speak passable Italian. So, we enroll them in Summer School there every year. We will now do that in Parma.

As I acclimate to my new surroundings in Parma, Italy I am carrying my M11 with me everywhere I go. So much to see and learn here. I don't have to go far however. Here is an image of the street in front of the house with its's amazing architecture, colors and lived in authentic street life. The second image is of the small streets to the rear of the house. I am surrounded by City life and beauty. Glad I am not shooting film here. That could get to be expensive,
A few more from my recent vacation in Germany. All taken with Leica M-E 240 and Leica 35/2.4 M-lens. No other of my digital cameras provides me with this kind of rich color gamut in the images which I really like. I will not let this camera go even its sensor is outdated technically at this point.
