I completed my Leica APO-Summicron-SL "Trinity" (28mm,50mm,90mm) lens set today. So I went down to the Boardwalk to test Peter Karbe's command to shoot these lenses wide open. Since this is primarily a people lens for me I shot random people street style at f/2.0, shutter speed had to go between 1/5000 sec and 1/6400 sec to manage exposure. The SL3 was up to the task. I would say that the lens performs wonderfully wide open. Focus wise I don't think I missed a shot all day. I think this camera and lens setup will be perfect for the project I have in mind for it.
Nothing special here, just getting to know the Leica 90mm APO-Summicron-SL lens...
