It’s possible it could be balsam separation of the rear element, which is not uncommon for this old lens, resulting in cracks / artifacts in the bokeh. However, in my cleaning of the rear glass there was a small “crooked line” that disappeared following the cleaning, which succeeded the making of the subject photo.

Thank you. A neighbors house they recently completed. The land had a small bungalow on the property which they kept and built this along side. Seems to be a trend on this suburban lake.
