I know many feel that the Zeiss Distagon 35/1.4 is too big on M bodies. I guess I'm an outlier here especially coming from almost anything on my Sony A1. Regardless, the output of this lens even wide open is simply outstanding IMO.

I received the Thypoch 50/1.4 today. While the weather was dark and dreary I took some initial shots on the M11. I like what I see in the first few shots. Sharp wide open. Nice colors and contrast. More to come.
A few more taken with the Q3 43 - I’m impressed with the colours that the sensor/lens combo generate… accurate and very little post processing required to get images to where I want them.

Great shots, Bob. Do you by chance have a 50 Lux ASPH to compare against? I tried the Thypoch 50 and it performed quite poorly compared to my Lux. Not sure if it was the copy or the lens. From what I’ve seen, the Thypoch should be very close in about every way, and even better than the Lux close up. My copy was definitely not that way
