With the newer Monochrom bodies that have such high ISO capability, I think they provide older classic lenses a new life. The oldest ones that I am using, a Summer 50/2 ltm and an Elmar 50/3.5 ltm, were made in 1937. On Monochrom bodies, they work out very nicely.
Thank you for the kind words. The first classic lens I wanted to get was the 50 Lux pre (shots above) and now I’m just waiting for the 35 to show up. I tried an LLL 35, while it was an excellent remake, it just didn’t do anything for me. I may try a 35 Canon while I wait for a Summaron to show up
I also shoot raw and start in Adobe Raw and use Photoshop (latest version) to fine tune but it's not a lot. The M 10 Mono is amazing and the files need a little work but usually only to get the files to where I think they look like my images. I expose for the way I process if that makes any sense. Some of it is glass also. My favorite 2 lenses are the the Leica 35 Summilux FLE and the Leica 24 2.8 Elmarit asph. And they both render wonderfully.

Steve, enjoying your recent people photos! IIRC, you've mentioned that you're a pretty big/tall guy. Has the need to use the mobility scooter become an unexpected stealth street photography asset? I mean, seated in it you're probably below people's typical line of sight. And many likely don't give much thought to the intentions of others in scooters. Maybe you've hit on something here that even a Leica can't provide when you're tall, walking and bring it up to your eye to compose/shoot. The slightly lower perspective is also subtly interesting and seemingly more intimate.

You are absolutely correct Ron. The scooter does help with making people comfortable when I shoot them. People are often put off with a 6'4" guy getting close and taking their picture. They feel much less threatened by a friendly old man in a scooter.
The scooter also helps by giving a much more attractive lower angle of view. This gives me better images for sure. I have rigged my scooter up with an ARCA SWISS monoball on the handle bars. When i see an interesting scene I mount the camera, and position the scooter to set the stage. Then I launch the Leica Photos APP. I sit there waiting for an interesting subject to pass through the scene. Everyone thinks I am just using my phone, and I am able get very honest street photos. No one even knows I took a picture.
People also tend to engage me in conversation more pleasantly, and easily. Almost everyone agrees to a portrait in the end.
So, yes, your intuition is correct. I do find the scooter to be an advantage in street style shooting.

This is brilliant! It takes advantage of the ubiquitous scene of someone on their phone who we all ignore, or who wants to be ignored, and turns it into an effective photographic tool! I've casually tried this with a tripod but when people see it, the assumption is the photographer is waiting for others to clear the scene, and they avoid crossing the area where the camera is pointed.
You've given me something to consider if/when I require a mobility device in the future. Rather than thinking of it as a hindrance, which for most of us would likely be the initial automatic reaction, think of how it can be turned into an advantage, which you clearly have.

Just to be clear, I would happily give up the mobility scooter for the ability to walk well again. One more surgery and I have a shot at it. I am working hard to that end. I have already exceeded the Doctors original prognosis.

While wandering the LA beaches back in May, I noticed this guy who seemed to be a character out of a movie with long hair flowing in the refreshing ocean breeze. He's sporting a Leica M7 with VM 35/1.4 and with what looks to be a waist-level finder??
