Spending a couple of days in NYC following a visit to my mom for her 90th birthday. Born and raised in NYC, I watched the construction of the Twin Towers as a kid. My first visit to Ground Zero was an emotional one.

We have this in common... How in the world did two New Yorkers find themselves in the Twin Cities as adults?
I remember the 2nd tower being finished, as I could see the project from the bedroom of my 10th floor bedroom. I used to pass the towers via public transportation on my way to elementary school
The memorial is very moving and your pictures do it justice!
nice work,
bruce

I ask myself that question often but I love the Twin Cities and Minnesota. When I lived in downtown MPLS a new neighbor moved in next door. It ended up being someone from high school!
