Ugh, just remembered: Although I bought most of my digital Leicas, and lenses, in Paris, the Summaron 28 I actually bought from a dealer in the UK, at a time when the GBP went very low against the dollar: together with the VAT rebate, it cost $,1000 less than the US price.
